U.S. national team midfielder Brek Shea’s transfer to Stoke City will be worth $4 million, according to a league source.

Shea, who has scored 19 goals in five seasons with FC Dallas, is in England awaiting a physical examination, and the deal is expected to be finalized Wednesday.

Shea, 22, has been effective as a left wing substitute for the national team, making 15 appearances.

U.S. central defender Geoff Cameron joined Stoke City on a 2.1 million euro transfer from the Houston Dynamo last year and has been in the starting lineup for the Potters.
