Malaga rallied on goals by Isco for a 2-1 victory over Levante Saturday, remaining in fourth place in La Liga.

Levante took the lead on a Jose Javier Barkero penalty kick in the 27th minute. Isco's penalty tied the score in the 36th minute. Then, Isco made it 2-1 in the 47th minute and Malaga's defense shut things down. Malaga (36-21 goal differential) has the best goals-against average in La Liga after 23 games.

Malaga (43 points) stayed in the race for a European place, though the club has been contesting a UEFA suspension. Levante remained at 33 points.
