Mario Bermejo and Cristian Bustos scored for Celta in a 2-1 win over Real Madrid in the first leg of a Copa del Rey match in Vigo Wednesday night.

Second half substitute Kaka' and Cristiano Ronaldo led a Real Madrid rally, Ronaldo scoring an 87th-minute score. But the Meringues ran out of time.

Real Madrid players wore black armbands to commemorate the death of Ninette Norma, daughter of Alfredo Di Stefano, the club's honorary president. But Real Madrid was   injured starters -- Raul Albiol, Fabio Coentrao, Gonzalo Higuain and Marcelo. Luca Modric had a chance to tie the score but his volley was saved by Sergio in the 72nd minute. Bustos, a 77th-minute substitute, scored a minute after replacing Aspas, converting after Real Madrid lost possession following a throw-in.

Higuain and Ronaldo scored for Real Madrid in a 2-0 victory over visiting Celta in a league match Oct. 20.  Real Madrid has two more league games before the end of the year -- against Espanyol and Malaga.
